You know what...maybe way back when, Sloane found out Irina was KGB and threatened her, saying he would tell Jack...and he took advantage of her, thus resulting in Sydney's birth. That would explain a lot about her feelings toward Sloane and why she got so upset when he spoke for his love for Sydney.
I like the idea of Sloane being Vaughn's dad (people do have affairs afterall, maybe even Vaughn's mom) but Irina made a point of saying how much Vaughn looked like his dad and unless that was just Irina being manipulative...I think it's safe to say that Vaughn's dad is NOT Sloane.
I always thought that Sloane might be Syd's father. If that were the case did he cheat on Emily? I mean I don't think he would. Even Sloane must have a heart; he wouldn't have cheated on her if he loved her as much as he claimed to. And Irina got really defensive whenever he tried to mention Syd. Oh the possibilities
that would be SO random if sloane was vaughns father. the only conversation they had in season two was when sloane goes, "you must be the man sydney was willing to kill me for"...and then we see them this season...but thats it...right??
I think that sloane may have had an affair with irina and thinks syd is the result but i think it will turn out that jack is the father. I love jack and i would so stop watching if sloane is the dad but i doubt it.
As much as I hate to say it... it would explain the whole creepy "I think of you as my own daughter" thing... but I would like to think that Sloane is just plain creepy than Syd's father. Melissa ^_^
